Is Aspartame Dangerous?
Aspartame is a synthetic chemical made to taste like sugar and it causes numerous health problems. Artificial sugars are fake substitutes. Food manufacturers are afraid that health and weight conscious folks will stop buying their products made with refined sugars because they are fattening. And so they have substituted artificial ingredients in their place. It won’t cause weight gain but it will cause other health issues that are even worse. This just doesn't make sense. If food manufacturers are concerned about people who are trying to eat healthier not eating their products, then why would they put an ingredient in the food they make that healthy people know not to eat in the first place?
Artificial Sweeteners Are Bad For Your Health
Take something as simple as yogurt for example. All of the artificially sweetened Yoplait yogurts are made with aspartame. If someone were to eat this yogurt every morning for breakfast, and I know personally people who do, their risk of cancer spikes up. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but anything made with artificial sweeteners, which includes any of the fake sugars, is very bad for your health. In fact you would be better off eating refined sugar. At least you know that it came from the cane or the beet to begin with.
The Solution To Weight Control
If you are concerned about losing weight and keeping it off, the best way is to eat all natural products. Do not eat foods that are labeled with “low fat” “no Cholesterol”, “no sugar”, and the reason is they substitute what is natural with chemicals.
Eat only the whole, natural product. Choose butter over margarine for instance. Choose the regular Yoplait yogurt over the one with aspartame.
If you are concerned about gaining weight then buy the plain yogurt and add a tablespoon of raw honey and or blueberries or strawberries for sweetener. It will be a whole lot better for you in the long run.
Healthy eating does not have to be difficult. You only have to get a bit more creative with the options that are available. You will lose weight if you first of all eat only natural, organic foods and second of all make sure they are fresh.
The Gimmick of Low Fat, No Sugar Labels
Aspartame is a “no sugar” label. When you taste something with this in it, it tastes sweet and good, almost like sugar. How in the world can manufacturers make something taste like sugar?
They use chemicals – chemicals that are not fit for man to eat – chemicals that if you eat enough of it, it will kill you. Don’t take my word for it; see the source at the end of this article.
“No sugar” and “no fat” labels are a gimmick because they trick the consumer into buying something that is far worse for them than the original processed product already is. Incredibly, this artificial sugar has caused many ill health reactions in people including severe seizures.
And what about all of those fake butters they call margarine? Margarine is the second worse product on the market after artificial sweeteners.
When you eat margarine you may as well be eating plastic, since margarine is made with it. So next time you are eating “oh I can’t believe it’s not butter” believe them! It truly is nothing close to butter! It’s not even a food product!
