The BMI calculator is basically used to calculate how overweight or obese you are using your current height and weight. This form of measuring does correlate well with measurements of body fat such as underwater weighing. The formula for calculating your bmi is dividing your weight in pounds by your height in inches squared, then multiplying that by 703. You can do this long hand or just input the above values into the calculator below, which is what most people including myself would probably do.
