Chinese Healing Herbs
Chinese healing herbs are an important element of traditional Chinese medicine. There are virtually hundreds of ancient Chinese herbal formulas in use today throughout the world.
Chinese doctors view good health in a person as a state of harmony and balance of the body’s Qi or Vital force, which runs through the different energy systems of the body, namely the different organs in the body.
Chinese Acupuncture
One way in which Chinese doctors cure disease is with acupuncture. Acupuncture is widely known throughout the world today as an excellent alternative medicine.
The technique involves placing very fine needles in weak areas of the body. In specific locations to assist the flow of the Vital Force through the energy systems of the heart, lungs, liver, kidneys, stomach and other organs.
Chinese Naturopaths believe that the disruption of the flow of the Vital Force to any organ causes an imbalance through the whole body bringing on symptoms of disease.
Ancient Chinese Herbal Remedies
Chinese natural doctors also correct imbalances in the body with traditional Chinese healing herbs, also knows as alternative herbal medicine. Chinese formulas have been used for centuries and studies have proven the effectiveness of each one for healing purposes.
Chinese herbal remedies are not just one herb, but several different Chinese healing herbs that work together in the body to bring balance in the system. Chinese tradition believes that if these herbs are taken singly, you will run the risk of throwing your body (vital force) further out of balance.
Nutrition and Chinese Healing Herbs
Chinese herb remedies stimulate the area that is in need of restoring, but health will not come back to the patient if the body is not nutritionally balanced as well.
Nutrition is the vital force for anyone who has ailing health or who wants to be healthy. Many health issues are increasingly being traced back to nutritional deficiencies in the body.
We must go back to eating the way nature intended, which is eating natural, unprocessed plant foods. Herbs, along with a good daily diet, exercise, pure water, plenty of rest, and less stress are the way to heal the body from disease.
Herbs alone may help with certain health issues in an already healthy body, but if the body is diseased, then it is prudent to begin a healthy lifestyle regime.
Homemade Herbal Remedies
Common herbs and spices found in your kitchen can be a Godsend for certain ailments that crop up from time to time.
For instance, ginger tea makes an excellent tea to help with heartburn, indigestion, nausea, dizziness, and even cramps from menstruation. Simply add a teaspoon of the spice to a 6-ounce glass of warm water and drink.
A good Chinese healing herb for indigestion and upset stomach is called Pill Curing or Kang Ning Wan. This ancient Chinese remedy soothes the stomach and will also help with motion sickness when traveling, without feeling drowsy.
There are literally hundreds of Chinese herbal formulas that will help to restore the body back to health. Chinese herbs are found in American health food stores and online.
