Control and Be Balanced

Personally, I would like to avoid eating fast food. But with children, I sometimes give in and and do eat it at times. I try to avoid it as much as I can.
The reason why is because I had gastric trouble last year due to almost daily intake of fast food. The doctor advised me to stay away from junk food. I then had to make a serious decision to avoid eating fast food. After making this decision and following through with it, I started feeling better and am now very cautious about eating it. I just eat it about once every two weeks.
However, my children do not agree and eat it more often in school. But I know their stomach gets upset whenever they have had it in excess. Same happens to me when I eat it twice in two weeks. I then have to eat some kind of digestion tablet or drink a lot of water and walk around a lot to help bring things back to normal.
It is hard to stay restrained from eating fast food. It's great taste makes it really tempting to eat and stay away from it completely. I have started cooking the same food at home with hygienic ingredients and have noticed drastic differences in what happens after such food intake. Home made cooking has no alternative. Control is a must. Excess is bad. You must have a balanced approach to eating.
