Daily Healthy Eating Plan Organization

Organizing a daily healthy eating plan will keep you on track and put you into the habit of taking care of yourself through eating right. Eating right can become a good habit to introduce into your daily eating plan.

If eating junk food is considered a bad habit than healthy eating is a good habit. It is not true that bad habits are hard to break. Bad habits are easy to break when you set your mind to what you want. Think of your daily eating plan as your food diary for your soul.

Nourishing The Soul With Breakfast

Because food nourishes our soul, eating a good healthy breakfast is a must for the start to our day. Fresh, organic apples and pears, preferably juiced with carrots or sweet potatoes is a healthful and nourishing breakfast.

Second choice is a nice big bowl of hot oatmeal with a piece of fruit or grapes. Granola, without sugar is another excellent choice to include in your daily healthy eating plan.

Nourishing The Soul With Lunch

Your daily healthy eating plan should include a nourishing lunch. Consuming red meat for both lunch and dinner is probably not a good idea if you are trying to lose weight or to feel energetic throughout the day. Red meat, if it is free range is fine to eat on occasion, but I would not eat it more than twice a week.

Eating fast food hamburgers and French fries will not nourish your soul. After eating like that you will feel tired, groggy, and ready for a nap, not to mention constipated in the morning. Many restaurants are now catering to the health conscience individuals and have some great soup and salad specials on their menu.

Nourishing The Soul With Dinner

Healthy meal plans is important for the household on the go. Creating simple and nutritious dishes for workdays is an added advantage to the busy schedule.

Knowing what you are going to eat ahead of time makes dinnertime meals easier for the cook. Make a list of simple dishes in your daily healthy eating plan that will not require a lot of time in the kitchen.

Hopefully you have already shopped for these simple meals and will have all of the ingredients in your kitchen. Some of the simplest of dishes are the most wholesome. Homemade casseroles, stir fry’s, soups and salads can be wholesome foods you might want to prepare during the busy workweek.

Nourishing The Soul With Healthy Snacks

Snack foods should be regarded as a pick-me-up food. If it does not pick-you-up than it is not nourishing the soul. This is why snacks are eaten in the middle of the day between meals and in the evening after dinner.

Snacks should make us feel good after we eat them. If we feel like going to bed, or taking a nap after we eat a snack then there is something wrong with that snack. Homemade trail mix using your favorite dried fruit and nuts is an excellent snack. Fruit is great for staying light and refreshed throughout the day. In the evening have some popcorn or granola.

Be sure to list some of your favorite snacks in your daily healthy eating plan. And don’t forget that snacks should nourish the soul too. Happy, healthy, snacking.
