Eating Healthy Tips: Best Cooking Oil And Cocoa Health

Monosaturated Fats

This article will explore some excellent eating healthy tips. Just by following a few important guidelines we can feel healthy and energetic. It’s important that we don’t get rundown and sick because of a poor diet.

So lets take a look at a few healthy tips.

Eating Healthy Tips: Juicing Fruits and Vegetables

Juicing fresh fruits and vegetables every other day is a good way to stay healthy and get a good daily dose of vitamins. Fruits and vegetables that are excellent for juicing are apples, pears, sweet potatoes, celery and carrots.

To keep from getting sick in the winter months, add a clove or two of fresh garlic into the juicer with your fruits and veggies. It really works!

Eating Healthy Tips: Good Fats

Eat plenty of good oils, like Extra Virgin Olive oil, cold pressed safflower oil, and Virgin cocoanut oils. Eat plenty of healthy foods that have good fats in them, even if you are trying to lose weight.

When we eat raw nuts and seeds they satisfy us and give our body energy that burns off, leaving us feeling good. Eating an avocado three or four times a week is not only good for you, but an excellent source of fiber, magnesium, potassium and vitamin E, which are all essential for a healthy diet.

Nuts and seeds can be eaten at anytime during the day. Mix them into your favorite foods such as stir-fry’s and salads or eat them with dried fruit as a mix. Avocados can be spread on a sandwich, diced into salads, made into guacamole, or eaten just the way they are.

Make sure you use lots of Extra Virgin (cold pressed) Olive oil in your salads, veggies sandwiches, and soups. These foods are excellent for your health and keep you feeling satisfied.

Eating Healthy Tips: Cocoa vs. Chocolate

Chocolate is not good for you, not even in small amounts, it’s like saying coffee with two teaspoons of sugar is good for you. The cocoa in the chocolate bar is what is good for you, and has the antioxidants.

But have you ever heard someone say, “Cocoa is good for you”? Probably not. But cocoa is very good for you eaten as cocoa, and not made into a chocolate bar or cake.

If you want to have a healthy treat, have a cup of hot cocoa or cold cocoa drink. Sweeten with bee’s honey, maple syrup, stevia herb, or date sugar and enjoy. Throw away the chocolate. Well, don’t throw it away but eat very little.

Eating Healthy Tips: Throw Out Processed Foods

If you are feeling rundown, or if you are overweight and want to lose some unwanted pounds, here is how to do it! First weigh yourself, and then throw away all processed and hydrogenated foods.

That would be foods such as donuts, potato chips, canned soups, TV dinners, white pasta, white rice, white bread, canned vegetables, canned fruits, corn oil, Crisco, and margarine.

Throw out the Bisquick, frozen waffles, white-floured pizza crusts, fat free items, cholesterol free items and condiments. These foods are literally making you sick and making you gain weight. That’s because they aren’t natural foods.

If you eat a natural diet, you won’t have to worry about high cholesterol. If nature made it and it is unadulterated, it won’t cause high cholesterol. Just something else your doctor never told you.

So if you’re serious about your health, stop buying processed junk foods and ready-made meals. Eat only whole foods and watch yourself begin to feel and look better emotionally, mentally, and physically. After one month, weigh your self again. You may be pleasantly surprised.
