Finally Eating Right

Often, it is difficult to meet my eating goals. Several factors change my consumption trajectory, including eating with others, feeling stressed out, or being lazy. When I become aware that I am not eating well, I examine these factors in my life and make sure to include more fruit and vegetables in my diet.
This may sound simplistic but being aware of how you eat, when you eat, and what you eat are the first steps to gaining more control. For instance, I try not to eat mindlessly. It is very important to be aware of emotional eating.
Also, I have been trying to include more fiber in my diet. This includes eating more oatmeal and including fruit in the bowl. If fruit is the first thing you eat in the morning, it is easier to digest than after you’ve already eaten other food.
My favorite healthy foods to eat, include: blueberries which are full of anti-oxidants, oranges, kiwi, mango, spinach, avocado (I can’t begin to describe the benefits of eating avocado), sprouts, and yogurt.
Although not everyone can eat yogurt—especially if you are lactose intolerant—it is great for women’s reproductive systems. Drinking cranberry juice can reduce urinary tract infections.
