Everyone has some toxins but those people who eat a fiber rich diet and eliminate daily are less toxic than those who are all clogged up. Grains to include in your daily diet are whole wheat, bran, brown rice, oatmeal, millet, and barley.
Boxed cereals typically are not what you’re looking for in a whole grain. These cereals are not whole grain and are full of sugars, white rice and refined flour.
Manufacturers like to say these cereals are enriched with vitamins but the best way to receive the nutrients from cereals is by eating the natural, whole grain product. Make your own cereals from oatmeal, bran, and wheat.
Good Healthy Diet: Fruits and Vegetables
A healthy diet includes at least five to seven servings of fresh fruits and vegetables a day. Are you receiving your daily intake of fruits and vegetables?
The fruit and vegetable group provides the body with the most antioxidants than all the food groups, but they don’t have a lot of calories. Eating over the recommended servings will not cause weight gain.
Fruit should always be eaten on an empty stomach for the best digestion. Vegetables should be eaten raw or lightly steamed. Don’t overcook vegetables or they lose their antioxidant effect.
Meat, legumes, nuts and seeds all supply the body with protein. A balanced diet will include a good amount of protein, but not from just meats. Vegetarians who eat a balanced diet are quite healthy eating a meatless diet because they get protein from other food sources like beans, nuts and seeds.
Eating a high animal fat diet is not conducive to good health and if you eat meat, it should be made the lesser part of the meal. Choosing leaner cuts of meats like chicken and turkey, along with fish is a great idea for maintaining a healthy diet. You’ll want to stay clear of cold cut meats, which are known to be genetically modified foods.
A Healthy Diet Is Getting Dietary Balance Every Day
Balance is what your body craves. Eat a natural diet to keep weight off rather than dieting. Dieting can cause food addiction and bingeing, which works against your body, mind, and soul causing an imbalance. To reach a good balanced lifestyle, it is essential to eat a balanced diet, exercise, and get plenty of rest. You deserve it and so does your body.
