A high saturated fat diet along with eating processed foods are the main causes of insulin spikes in people who suffer with diabetes. Studies have shown that diabetics do well eating a high fiber, low fat diet because fiber actually slows down sugar spikes.

Whole grains, beans, nuts and seeds take more time to process in the body, which reduces insulin spikes considerably.

Refined foods high in saturated fats are the worse foods a diabetic can eat. Diabetes can be controlled through the foods you eat, which is the kind of diet that was meant for the body.

The first signs that something is not right with our diet shows up in our body. When our body receives natural foods on a consistent basis, it truly benefits from it through proper digestion and elimination. We feel and look younger too.
