If a burger sounds good to you, that’s fine. Just don’t eat the cheese or mayo. Double up on the pickles, mustard, and ketchup if you want to replace the mayo. Pass up the fries, cola or shake. It’s probably not conducive to good health or weight to eat out in fast food more than once a week.

It’s always best and easiest to eat healthy from home. You know what you want and you know just how to prepare it and cook it to make it taste good. Having good eating habits to go along with your healthy food choices is very important.
Eat regular meals, preferably four to six smaller meals rather than just one or two larger meals. Take your time when eating. The slower you eat, the sooner you become satisfied.
Once you reach satisfaction, it is time to push your plate aside, except for on holidays. Then you can continue eating. That’s part of what holidays are for, isn’t it?
Get accustomed to eating “good for you” snacks. Snacking around on this and that is where we often go wrong in our weight loss journey. But if you only have healthy snacks in the house, it is hard to make a wrong turn.
Remember, we do need to eat to live so make sure that what you eat will actually help you to live. Get healthy and stay healthy!
