Healthy Weight Loss Eating: Losing Weight Without Dieting

Eating Healthy To Lose Weight

Healthy weight loss eating involves eating a good daily diet rather than reducing the amount of food you eat. This weight loss system really works because eating healthy foods would be eating fewer calories.

The great part about it is it doesn’t make you feel food deprived. Most natural foods already have fewer calories than processed foods to begin with. If you are serious about losing weight the healthy way, go all natural!

Healthy Weight Loss Eating: Five Weight Loss Tips

  • Tip 1: Instead of using heavy creams or canned cream of mushroom soup to thicken soups, stews and sauces, use 1 tablespoon of oatmeal. The oatmeal adds fiber, nutrients, and has far fewer calories than cream.
  • Tip 2: When baking cakes, substitute one mashed banana for one third of the butter or oil. This works great and still gives your cake its rich, moist texture, but without the calories.
  • Tip 3: Eat fewer fried and deep friend foods. Skip the French fries and make baked potato wedges instead. Here’s how. Scrub three baking potatoes well because you will be eating the skins.

Cut the potato into quarters and layer in a cookie sheet. Add some sea salt and paprika. Drizzle olive oil and mix the potatoes well. Bake for one hour in a 350-degree oven.

  • Tip 4: Take the skin off your chicken before you bake it. Chicken still tastes great without the skin when you drizzle it with a little olive oil instead.
  • Tip 5: Eat less processed foods. Processed foods are loaded with sugars and trans fats, both of which are fattening and terrible on your health. By eliminating refined foods from your diet, your health will improve and you will naturally lose weight.

Healthy Weight Loss Eating: Breaking Bad Habits

Healthy eating involves careful consideration of the food you eat, but it also involves changing or breaking bad eating habits. Let’s start with breakfast.

As we all know, breakfast is an important start to the day, but eating bacon or sausage, eggs and potatoes is not conducive to healthy weight loss.

First thing upon rising, start your day off with a piece of whole fruit, or make yourself a fruit bowl, or freshly juiced fruits and veggies of your choice. Wait fifteen minutes and let the fruit digest before you eat more solid food.

Next prepare yourself a bowl of oatmeal sweetened with raisins or raw honey. Make yourself a side of whole-wheat toast to go along with that oatmeal. You’ll be good to go!

This kind of breakfast has all the vitamins and nutrients your body needs to sustain itself up until lunch time. Next, lets talk about those green salads every dieter loves.

Did you know that ninety percent of the calories in a green salad comes from the dressings? Wow! This is doing your weight loss program a big disservice.

Mayonnaise, whole milk and refined cooking oils are the culprit for all those calories. Here is a tasty and healthier dressing you can try next time.

In a salad dressing mixer or bowl add three tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil, juice of ½ lime, dash of sea salt, ½ teaspoon both basil and oregano and stir well. Bring this dressing with you when you eat out when you know the restaurant does not have olive oil.

Healthy weight loss eating does not have to be too difficult. Just knowing a few tricks of the trade and going all natural will help you in your weight loss journey, and without feeling deprived of food. Eat and be happy knowing that you are feeding your body the very best food there is to offer.
