It is important to keep fit through healthy weight range. Healthy weight range is found through height and bone structure of an individual.
For example a 5’9” woman with medium bone structure should have an ideal weight between 139 to 153 pounds. A 5’1” woman with a small frame should weigh in at 100 to 122 pounds.
To stay at an ideal weight for your height and frame is easier when you eat a healthy diet and exercise.
Something to take into consideration when seeking your ideal weight range is muscle mass. A person who works out with weights and has built up muscle, will weigh more than a person who only does light exercise, such as walking.
That’s because muscle weighs more than fat. A body builder will weigh twenty or more pounds more than a person of the same size but who does not work out. This is why the charts have such a wide range of weight between individual people.
A healthy weight range can also be relative. What’s healthy to you?
One person may feel that being underweight by a few pounds is healthy, while another would see that as being too thin. Another person may think that being overweight by a few pounds is healthy.
The truth is if they feel healthy and are doing all they can like eating right and exercising, then perhaps they are healthy. Although, it is far better to be a few pounds overweight than a few pounds underweight.
Society focuses too much on skinniness, and that focus has influenced the minds of young girls across the nation.
This causes emotional issues and disorders concerning outward appearance, and is disrupting the life of many teenagers and young adults.
Society needs to stop glamorizing skinniness as beauty before it harms more young people. Being skinny is not healthy or an ideal weight to be at. Besides that, beauty is always found within the inner character of a person.
A healthy weight range means that a person is at their ideal weight and also healthy. Many people are at their weight range but aren’t healthy.
That’s because of the way they are eating. We need to go back to a natural, simpler way of eating, and it will be that much easier to be healthy while regulating weight at the same time.
To maintain ideal weight and fitness, eat healthy calories! Our bodies do not store healthy calories as fat because the body burns healthy calories.
But when we eat junk food (unhealthy calories) our body does not metabolize all the fats and sugars properly, and some of it gets stored as fat – that’s what cellulite is, and why we gain weight. An example would
be eating a bowl of pinto beans and brown rice over a hamburger and french-fries for dinner. The beans and rice is going to burn off because it is void of any bad fats, carbohydrates or sugars.
Only three percent of the saturated, hydrogenated fats will burn off. The rest of those fats will attach themselves to your waistline.
If you are trying to lose weight or stay at a healthy weight range, eat only whole, natural, and organic foods. The body will always burn the healthier fats (olive oil, canola, fish fats, etc) for energy more easily than it burns saturated fats (animal fats, hydrogenated fats).
