Holiday Eating Cleanse

This holiday season I have decided to go on a cleanse and clean my system and my mind before splurging out on all the holiday “cheer” I am about to over indulge in.

Each time this holiday season rolls around, I tend to gain weight, feel depressed and not look forward to the upcoming year. This year I have decided to eat healthy for 2 weeks leading up to my Christmas party, and have already lost a lot of weight.

I attribute this to a diet which has made me feel clean, whole and more energetic. While on this diet, I have educated myself to the point where I feel that I no longer want to eat meat for many different reasons. One being that eating flesh and meat is not good for our bodies.

Our system takes more energy to digest this meat and it sits in our stomachs and intestines for a long time before we can actually get rid of it. Fruits, veggies and liquids are the way to go because they provide the most nutrients and they are easily digestible as well as making us feel good, clean and healthy.

Im glad I did this before the holidays and it will take me into the new year!
