When these herbs are made into a tea they make a great alternative herbal medicine. Most herbal teas would be very useful in your diet plans because tea is not fattening and it is very good for your health.

Chamomile is so gentle it can be used on babies and children. It is great for hyperactive kids who won’t go to bed. Both chamomile and mint tea are often given to colicky babies because it soothes the nervous system and settles their little tummies down.

Herbal Mint Tea Uses

The herb mint is often used to settle an upset stomach and to aid in food digestion. Have you ever wondered why some restaurants give out mints and chocolate mints after the meal? Mint is used to help with the process of digestion after eating a heavy meal.

It would be far better for your health to drink a cup of mint tea with a little honey rather than a sugary piece of mint candy. Mint and peppermint teas are also given to babies for colic and smaller children for tummy aches.

Along with hops tea, there are hundred’s of herbal tea varieties that work towards healing. When herbal teas are substituted for sugary soda pops and concentrated juice drinks, it would certainly help shed the pounds as well as boost your health.
