Importance of Eating Healthy
The importance of eating healthy should be paramount in your life. That’s why you surfed to this website about eating healthy, right? We all want to feel good and live a long vibrant, joyous life; the best way to do that is by eating healthful foods that give us life.
There are foods that give us life and there are foods that take our life. For instance real food is whole food and anytime the whole food gets broken down it becomes unwholesome and incomplete. Incomplete food is not healthy. Our body does not thrive well on incomplete foods.
Whole Food vs. Incomplete Food
If the food is incomplete, such as white enriched flour, how can it give you life? Where is the life force of that food? Where are the vitamins? You see, what once was a whole food is now an incomplete, lifeless food.
Oh, yes, white flour is “enriched” with a synthetic vitamin but that vitamin is not real either. White flour “enriched” with vitamins is still bad for your health.
We must learn the importance of eating healthy for ourselves and for our families, and we do that by doing the needed research.
Taking Charge of What You Eat
The importance of eating healthy is in what we eat and how much. Eating a daily diet of fruits, vegetables and other healthy food choices is the basis for good health. You have to be the one to take charge of your health through healthy eating.
Your doctor is not going to tell you what to eat and what not to eat. Doctors are not trained in nutrition, so they don’t really know what your body needs.
This is why it is important to listen to your body. It will let you know if something you ate did not agree with it.
Eating out in restaurants, eating foods that don’t agree with you, and simply not taking the time to cook wholesome foods is not taking charge of your health.
Foods To Stay Away From
Your health is important and the real importance of eating healthy foods is so you can feel good physically and feel happy mentally.
Foods that interfere with your body’s hormones, metabolism, and glucose levels are refined sugars and carbohydrates. Eating these foods on a daily basis will wreck havoc on your body and your mind.
Perhaps you feel overly emotional, depressed, or unable to focus, or you have no energy. What did you eat? White floury products and refined sugars are devoid of any vitamins whatsoever, and if you eat these daily, they will cause eventual disease.
Other foods to avoid are hydrogenated oils, which are found in almost all packaged and process foods. Those foods would be margarine, cookies, cakes, donuts, french fries and other deep fried foods.
The importance to your diet of staying away from these foods is of high importance. These foods cause many unhealthy conditions, disorders, cancers and disease.
I cannot underestimate the importance of eating healthy and going through this life feeling energetic and happy. No matter what age you are, if you are eating right, you will live a long and joyous life. Isn’t that what you want?
