Bake Healthy Treats
Bake up batches of healthy treats and freeze them. When your children have a sweet tooth, they can grab a healthy treat from the freezer. This ensures that your children are getting the best possible foods, even when they eat sweets.
Remember, when baking use refined sugar substitute like maple syrup, bee’s honey, Stevia, or date juice. Also use whole-wheat flour so your children are getting the fiber and bran they so much need in their diet. healthy eating for kids takes a little bit of effort from you, but isn’t it worth it in the long run?
Train Them When Young
Start children out when they are very young to eat plenty of fresh fruits, vegetables, and homemade treats. You do this by offering them these kinds of foods at meal times. Eating bad is a lifestyle. It takes several years of eating bad to notice the impact on your physical and mental health.
By then eating bad has become a habit, and bad habits are hard to break. Why not start your children out with good eating habits to begin with? It will be a whole lot better for everyone involved.
Do your children have asthma or allergies? Do they get sick during flu season? Are they overweight or obese? Are they having trouble in school? Has your teacher diagnosed your child with an attention disorder?
