What does the importance of healthy eating mean to you? Does it mean feeling good and energetic throughout the day? Does it mean a family who appreciates healthy dinners at meal times? Does it mean a healthier, happier, and longer life?
I think that all of those things make healthy eating important to us. Let’s take a look at some more reasons for eating healthy.
No doubt about it, healthy eating brings on good health. And good health brings us happiness, productivity, and longevity – all the things that are important in life.
Good health can also bring us prosperity and creativity. Now who wouldn’t want to prosper in life? When I talk about prosper, I don’t necessarily mean materialistically, either. “To Prosper” could mean different things to different people.
I’m talking about to prosper as in whatever is important to you at the moment, whether that be a hobby, your career, or raising teenagers – all of these things are important in life. And when we do them well, by trying our best, we prosper.
If we feel good physically, mentally, and spiritually, we are more apt to prosper in our endeavors in life. So this is why eating healthy should be an important part of our life.
I don’t know about you, but when I feel good physically and mentally from eatng right, I feel more creative. If you’re a parent, then you know that growing teenagers need to eat right for creativity and mental alertness.
I know what happens when growing teenagers do not eat right. It wrecks havoc on their emotions, physical stamina, and mental awareness.
Emotionally they become cranky, and overly sensitive about themselves. Vitamin and mineral deficiency plays with a teenagers self esteem. Physically they may break out with acne, have weight gain, and crave sugar and other junk type foods.

When we eat right, not only do we feel good, but we look good too. You can always tell when someone is nutritionally deficient. You can see it in their face, their body language, and in the way they express themselves.
People who do not eat right look disheveled, tired, have blotchy skin, are overweight, and usually have physical ailments that afflict them. It is so important that we eat right. We should make it a top priority in life.
The importance of being a good example to others and all those that we love is a very good reason to take the lead and be a healthy person through all aspects of our health.
We can all become good examples to others by showing others how to be healthy through our own well being and fitness routine. For instance we can show others through example rather than preaching the choir to them.
Cook wholesome homemade meals that your family will rave about to their friends and colleagues. Call up your friends to come join you in your favorite exercise program. Invite a friend to church or to another community services or group that you are involved in.
