There are numerous top healthy foods available to us. Organic is always best to ensure the freedom of chemicals. There are so many foods that are good for us that just naming a few in one article wouldn’t be right.

Most whole foods have a place in our diet. An example of that is with whole grains. Whole grains aren’t particularly loaded with antioxidant powers like some foods are, but whole grains are very much needed in our diet for a healthy body.

Fish Is Noted as a Top Healthy Food

Cold-water fish and some canned fish such as sardines and tuna are packed with fatty oils the body needs. Numerous studies have been done on the benefits of fish on heart health.

Omega 3 fatty acids benefit the heart of healthy people as well as benefit those who are at risk of developing cardiovascular disease. Mackerel, salmon, trout, herring, and sardines all have good amounts of the fatty acids.
