Weight Watchers Recipes

The best weight watchers recipes will be made with natural, whole foods. That’s how you lose weight, by eating a natural diet. Calorie reducing diets don’t work. Many times when we go on reducing diets we feel deprived of food.

We either overeat and binge or feel emotionally discouraged for cheating on our diet while still feeling hungry. Dieting should not make us feel hungry. A good weight loss diet would be first eating natural foods and second proper food combining.

Weight Watchers Recipes And Food Combining

Even if you are a big meat-eater, you can lose weight simply by not combining starches with your meat. Have only a side of your favorite steamed vegetable, and a nice big green salad. If that doesn’t fill you up it would be better to eat more meat than to mix a starch with the meat.

Are you a vegetarian? Are you trying to lose weight? Great! All you have to do is make sure that all the food you eat is fresh and whole. It is inevitable that you will be losing weight when you eat the right, heatlhy foods.

Our bodies were not made to digest proteins together with a starch because this food combination does not break down properly in the gut. This is why people get irritable bowel syndrome, heartburn, and other health ailments—they are all clogged up.

Eating improperly combined foods clogs up and overworks the digestive system. This is why you feel tired after eating a big protein mixed with a starch meal. It doesn’t give the body any extra energy because it is so busy trying to break down a meat and potato meal.

The Atkins Diet is sort of like food combining because it focuses mainly on eating meat, fats, and some vegetables. The only problem I see with the Atkins diet is it doesn’t work for every body type.

Some people just don’t do as well eating so much meat. But the food combining system works for every body type, and that is why it should be incorporated as a good way to losing weight. Food combining isn’t really a diet or program but a healthy lifestyle.

Weight Watchers Recipes

Many weight watchers recipes are made with synthetic ingredients to take the place of fat, sugar, salt, and cholesterol. But “low fat this and that” substitutes will make you sick overtime.

One reason we become so toxic in this society is from the chemicals and additives added into refined convenience foods.

Margarine and sugar substitutes are terrible for health. The extra fat in real butter is not going to be nearly as harmful to your body as the synthetic junk they replace the flavor of real butter with in margarine.

I would even venture to say that refined sugar is preferred over a sugar substitute as far as health goes. But refined sugar is not good for your health either. It has shown to be the culprit in many known diseases today.

Healthy recipes for losing weight will always start with the whole food product. Take chicken, beef, turkey, fish, whole grains, beans and legumes and fresh produce and cook with these foods from scratch.

The above foods are the base of your meals. Add side dishes to compliment these foods. Whole grains go wonderful with beans and legumes. Vegetables go really well with meat dishes and sauces. Vegetables go good with whole grain pasta and brown rice dishes.

Great places to buy your whole foods are from the whole foods market. Most cities have this type of market or one similar to it. They also cater to the organic food market. Remember, on your weight loss journey to keep it simple, keep it natural, and eat when you are hungry, and you will lose weight.
